The 858 incorporates MoistTech?s well-proven IR-3000 moisture sensor optics and electronics providing superb accuracy, resolution and the shortest test time of any similar technology gauge.

Perfectly suitable for labs and research facilities, the IRMA 858 moisture gauge is the very first sensor where samples are measured using NIR lighting starting from the bottom of the quartz based container and penetrating the entire sample. Measuring samples that are in completely sealed containers helps to eliminates any constituent losses that are caused by handling, in order to provide the most accurate and true moisture reading.
