Optical dissolved oxygen sensor Hamilton
Modelo: VisiFerm DO Arc
imagen producto

The Visi family of sensors have a blue LED on the sensor shaft and an oxygen sensitive dye (phosphor) attached to a glass window in the replaceable sensor cap. The blue light excites the phosphor and then a photodetector on the sensor shaft detects the red light returning from the phosphor. A microprocessor in the sensor correlates the emitted blue light and the measured red light with the partial pressure of oxygen. This measurement can be output as a simulated nA signal, 4-20 mA, or a digital protocol.
VisiFerm is the first 12mm optical dissolved oxygen sensor with integrated optoelectronics, which has the full functionality of a self-diagnostic measuring device. It is steam sterilizable, autoclavable and CIP compliant. VisiFerm DO requires less maintenance than a classic oxygen sensor, as it does not have a mechanically sensitive membrane or corrosive electrolyte.
