HOBO H6 State Data Logger
Part # H06-001-02
Monitors when doors are open/closed using an internal magnetic reed switch and external magnet. External input cable included to monitor contact closures of remote devices or presence of positive DC voltage.
Can be used with AC Current switch to monitor equipment on/off and run-times.
Key Specifications:
Two Inputs: a magnetic sensor mounted in the logger detects when doors are opened and closed (external magnet included). An external input cable detects contact closures.
Spacing between HOBO State and external magnet: closed =1/4"; open =3/4"
External contact input: passive relay switch or contact closure
HOBO H6 Light On/Off Data Logger
Part # H06-002-02
The light intensity threshold monitored is adjustable from approximately 10 to 100 lumens. The HOBO's light sensitivity is peaked in the forward direction and can be taken advantage of to minimize the effect of other light sources when trying to determine the on/off state of a particular light source.
Key Specifications:
Light threshold adjustment range: approx. 10 to 100 lumens/m2 (fluorescent light). Its sensitivity to incandescent light is about ten times greater.
HOBO H6 Motor On/Off with AC-Field Sensor Data Logger
Part #H06-004-02
Magnetic field intensities fall off rapidly with increasing distance from their source (motor, transformer, or even a single wire carrying a large AC current). This means that the logger must be mounted very close to (ideally directly on) the field source. While this may make it less convenient to attach the logger, it means that interference from other sources is less likely.
Key Specifications:
Magnetic field threshold: 2 G at 60 Hz. The logger will typically work with AC motors drawing 1 amp or more. Mount it on or close to the motor housing or to one phase of the power line to the equipment being monitored.
Angular response: the logger is sensitive to the part of the AC field that is perpendicular to the logger's face.
